Job summary

RETTEW is seeking a Maryland-licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead survey projects and provide licensed oversight for work across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic. The role is based in a RETTEW office in Pennsylvania with hybrid work options and extensive cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client expectations, lead boundary and ALTA/NSPS surveys, and mentor staff across land development and transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PLS license is required.
• Experience delivering survey projects with scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage surveying projects from scope to final delivery.
• Lead ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, construction surveys.
• Provide licensed professional oversight for Maryland work.
• Review and seal survey plans/plats per Maryland standards.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate field crews and CAD/Survey staff across disciplines.
• Mentor survey professionals and develop staff.
• Support proposals, pursuits, and client relationships.
