Job summary

SurvWest, LLC in Englewood, Colorado, invites applications for a Senior Survey Project Manager (PLS) to lead complex survey projects and drive growth of our Survey and Geospatial Services. You will provide technical leadership, project oversight, client management, and staff mentorship across CDOT, DOT, energy, renewables, and civil infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Colorado PLS, 5+ years of surveying, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or

Qualifications

• Colorado PLS license required.
• 5+ years of professional surveying experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley survey platforms.
• Preferred: additional state PLS licenses, Trimble Business Center, Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads, GIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and technical lead for complex and high-value survey projects.
• Manage client relationships and support business development efforts.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and risk management.
• Coordinate with SUE, Utility Coordination, and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide senior-level technical review of survey deliverables and QA/QC oversight.
• Mentor staff and assist in hiring, training, and performance development.
