Bateman Civil Survey Company is seeking an Associate Director for the Myrtle Beach office to oversee survey operations, mentor staff, and drive growth across boundary, topographic, construction staking, ALTA, and utility surveys. You will manage projects from proposal through completion, ensure quality control, balance fieldwork and office production, and align local activities with company goals.

This leadership role requires 10+ years in surveying with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise and SC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in surveying, including leadership or management roles.
• Strong working knowledge of field and office survey operations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a target of 60–70% billable utilization while balancing leadership responsibilities.
• Oversee all survey operations for the Myrtle Beach office, including fieldwork and office production.
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all survey deliverables.
• Manage project lifecycles from proposal through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and assist in negotiations with clients.
• Monitor project budgets, billing, and profitability.
• Collaborate with company leadership to align Myrtle Beach operations with overall company goals.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for both field and office workflows.
• Oversee training programs for field crews and CAD staff, ensuring adoption of best practices and new technologies.
• Support business development efforts and help grow the Myrtle Beach market presence.
