Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Senior Survey Technician to support office and field staff, processing data and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks using the latest A/E/C industry technology to increase project efficiency and client satisfaction.

The role requires CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit a plus) and strong math skills, with duties including deed research, land survey plats,

Qualifications

• Experience with land surveying deliverables and CAD work.
• Strong mathematical proficiency for survey computations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and legal descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet project requirements.
• Process field data and perform initial CAD work on survey deliverables.
• Perform QC checks on client deliverables and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor field crew production and quality assurance.
• Prepare land survey plats, deeds, and legal descriptions.
• Provide field support and training for staff as needed.
