Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Survey Technician to support field and office teams in processing data and delivering final land surveying deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and help increase efficiency and client satisfaction with SAM’s advanced geospatial workflows.

The role emphasizes learning on the job, strong math skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Revit, with opportunities for CAD training and career development.

Qualifications

Strong willingness to learn and grow with on-the-job training.
Proficiency in technical math and geometric reasoning.
Attention to detail to ensure survey deliverables meet standards.

Responsibilities

Assist field and office staff in processing data and delivering final survey products.
Monitor field crew production and perform initial QC of deliverables according to standards.
Coordinate with supervisors to meet client-specific requirements.
