Job summary

SAM is seeking a Senior Survey Technician to support both office and field teams in producing final land surveying deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and utilize advanced technology to improve project efficiency and client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes coordination with project managers, data processing, and strict quality control across field and office workflows in a dynamic geospatial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus.
• Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying deliverables.
• Report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks using the latest A/E/C industry technology.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet project requirements in office and field.
• Process field data and perform initial CAD work on land survey deliverables.
• Quality control assistance of client deliverables.
• Monitor field crew production and quality assurance.
• Train field and office staff in best practices and standards.
• Provide field support for land survey staff as needed.
• Perform QC checks on-site to verify quality of work.
• Daily processing of data and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
