Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team in Atlanta. The candidate will leverage CAD tools to process field data and create precise survey drawings, and develop 3D terrain models for engineering design.

The role requires deep knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation, experience with InRoads/OpenRoads, and familiarity with GDOT standards. Collaboration with a project team is essential to deliver high-quality results and maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data to create CAD drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Draft and design for various land surveying projects adhering to CAD standards and GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with Designers and Project Managers to deliver accurate results.
• Ensure field crews collect data and maintain strong communication and coordination.
• Prepare and compile plans, as-builts, and final plats.
