Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and CAD design, along with proficiency in survey software and tools.

Responsibilities include processing field data in MicroStation and AutoCAD, developing 3D terrain models with InRoads/OpenRoads, and ensuring CAD standards and GDOT requirements are met. Collaboration with project managers is essential for accurate, timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• 1+ year of field and office surveying with hands-on AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.
• Experience with survey software and equipment.
• At least 1 year of MicroStation experience (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process daily field survey data using MicroStation and AutoCAD to create survey drawings.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Draft and design for land surveying projects adhering to CAD standards and GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Maintain data quality by verifying calculations, plats, and worksheets.
