Tufts Medicine is seeking an expert Surgical Technologist IV for a full-time role in the operating room. You will support the perioperative team, manage instrument preparation, maintain sterile technique, and assist surgeons during procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.

This senior position emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with the service line leadership and central processing teams to improve perioperative outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Tech Program or CST certification.
• 8 years of healthcare experience would be typical for this level.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Functions as the Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room across the perioperative continuum.
• Maintains aseptic technique and ensures sterile setup and patient protection.
• Prepares instruments and supplies, assists with patient positioning and intraoperative tasks.
• Collaborates with surgical team and other perioperative staff to optimize patient care.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent; Surgical Technologist CST certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
