Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, CA is seeking a Sr Surgical Technician WK to support the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. You will manage instrument setup, assist with positioning, and ensure sterility and patient safety throughout the operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of current acute Operating Room experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work of Surgical Technicians and assist with training.
• Arrange and prepare operating room equipment and supplies for procedures; ensure sterility and functionality.
• Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining patient safety.
• Maintain room turnover and assist with instrument cleaning and sterilization.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient OR workflows and safety standards.
