Job summary

Health Wealth Safe seeks a Surgical Technician II to support operating room teams and deliver high-quality patient care across age groups from infant to geriatric. You will prepare instruments, scrub in with surgeons, manage room turnover, and assist in orienting new staff.

Responsibilities include staffing support for the ASC OR and contributing to multi-specialty settings. A valid surgical technology program graduate with BLS and at least three years of experience is required; CST preferred,

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES).
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 3 years of surgical technician experience.
• Proficiency in advanced surgical technician skills and knowledge of at least one specialty service.
• Basic computer skills.
• CST certification preferred; experience in multi-specialty settings and ambulatory or hospital environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing surgical instruments for procedures.
• Assisting surgeons by scrubbing in on cases.
• Managing room turnover and instrument decontamination.
• Contributing to the orientation of new surgical technicians.
• Providing staffing support for the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) OR.
• Serving patients across various age groups, including Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
