Kaiser Permanente in Roseville, CA is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. Under supervision, you will support instrument maintenance, equipment readiness, and room turnover to ensure efficient, safe operations.

You will supervise other technicians, coordinate equipment setup, and participate in patient safety initiatives while adhering to hospital policies and accredited standards. BLS certification is required.

Formación

• Minimum two years of current acute Operating Room experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; BLS certification required.
• Surgical Technicians certified by recognized bodies may qualify as Senior Technicians.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and supervise the work of Surgical Technicians; coordinate tasks.
• Coordinate equipment setup and ensure sterility and readiness before cases.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and gowning during procedures.
• Hand instruments to surgeon and assist during operation; count sponges and needles.
• Contribute to patient safety goals and room turnover; sanitize equipment.
• Assemble case carts and prep supplies for procedures.
