Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical and other major diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Coordinate with off-site surgical facilities.
• Prepare records and films for the case.
• Communicate preoperative instructions to the patient and family.
• Schedule preoperative testing.
