Job summary

ISG is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Surface Water team in Columbus, OH. You will contribute to rural surface water projects, designing stormwater systems and supporting project execution from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering or bioproducts and bio-systems engineering (required)
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (required)
• 5–10 years of experience in the surface water industry
• Ability to travel to various job sites and ISG locations
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed, organized and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stormwater management plans and reports to control runoff and prevent flooding
• Design and oversee construction of stormwater infrastructure such as basins, swales and drainage systems
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using modeling software
• Coordinate environmental studies, permitting and other technical deliverables
• Provide QA/QC for drawings, documents and schedules
• Lead design efforts from concept through construction and support field teams
