Job summary

Allianz Commercial in the United States seeks an Executive Surety Underwriter to drive profitability and growth of the Surety portfolio within the Central Region. You will cultivate broker relationships, market Allianz Trade's capabilities, and underwrite in line with guidelines to deliver sustainable results.

The role requires a strong track record in surety, entrepreneurial drive, and a willingness to leverage AI tools in daily underwriting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in the Surety or related insurance space.
• Proven ability to underwrite and grow a Surety portfolio.
• Established track record building business with brokers.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market a profitable Surety portfolio in the U.S. market.
• Maintain and expand broker relationships and drive business growth.
• Document decisions clearly and in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
• Collaborate across the Americas and with Allianz colleagues to leverage capabilities.
• Represent Allianz in industry groups and local events.
