Job summary
Allianz Commercial is seeking a senior underwriter to lead the Surety portfolio for the North America region. You will develop strategic plans, underwrite large accounts, and strengthen broker partnerships across the Americas. Candidates should have extensive underwriting experience, deep knowledge of contract surety and the U.S. market, and willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance.
- 7+ years industry experience as an underwriter.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract surety and the U.S. surety market.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand AZ Trade’s America Surety business in the Region.
- Underwrite and grow a profitable Surety portfolio through broker engagement.
- Document decisions and recommendations clearly and transparently.
- Build and maintain relationships with national and regional brokers.
