Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is seeking a Lead Supported Community Living Specialist to oversee a team of six or more direct support professionals providing supported living skills to over sixty participants. The role includes scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring quality services.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and have supervisory experience, with a strong focus on community integration and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, or related field required.
• One year of work experience in social work, rehabilitation, case management, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 6+ direct support professionals.
• Develop and implement short- and long-range goals for the SCL Program.
• Manage department budgets and monitor expenses.
• Coordinate transportation for participants as needed.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources and funders.
• Create weekly schedules for 60+ program participants and monitor caseload of 18–20 clients.
