FTE Status: 1.00 FTE (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule: 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays

Job Description:

The Senior Support Specialist serves as a subject matter expert across revenue cycle operations, billing, coding, insurance verification, compliance, and regulatory oversight. This role provides advanced support to leadership, providers, clinical teams, and frontline staff by identifying issues, implementing solutions, educating departments, and ensuring accurate, compliant billing practices. The position functions with a high degree of autonomy and participates in strategic discussions without direct supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications:

Education : Associate or bachelor’s degree in a Health care related field.

Certification/Registration/Licensure :

Experience : Minimum five years of experience in day-to-day operations in a Home Medical setting with expertise in ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and billing practices, and demonstrating knowledge of disease process, anatomy, medical terminology and related home medical equipment required. Experience conducting coding audits, problem solving and effectively communicating the results to stakeholders, and complex data analysis and the use of software and other tools to interpret and explain results required.
