Qualifications

• Travel 95% of the time – Sunday through Thursday, more than 45 weeks a year (no flexibility)
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field required, or more than ten (10) years of professional field experience
• More than three (3) years of strategic sourcing experience – creating and executing category strategies independently, in industry or as a consultant
• Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to drive results independently
• Ability to ramp up on Power BI quickly and connect analytics to financial impact

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing engagements, including developing category events and enabling impact tracking
• Lead delivery workstreams: execute category strategies, negotiate and implement supplier agreements
• Support client optimization of sourcing and procurement structures, policies, processes, and management practices
• Possibly assign to logistics or operational consulting engagements when appropriate
