Position: Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Asset Management / Material Planner

Boeing India's supply chain management team is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Asset Management / Material Planner to join their team in New Delhi, India. The successful candidate will work directly with the Manager, Supply Chain BDI/BGS (India).

This role offers the opportunity to work on Boeing defense programs, focusing on supply chain deliverables for mission-critical projects. The candidate will need to understand the importance of collaboration, stakeholder management, and timeliness in these programs.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with order execution teams and procurement agents to communicate with suppliers.
• Enter material orders, coordinate activities for bulk purchases, analyze material locations, and ensure proper distribution.
• Launch parts in SAP GOLD system.
• Manage plans for specific parts throughout the program lifecycle, aligning with the model.
• Track and coordinate customer allocations and delivery requirements.
• Analyze and process returned materials from customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues.
• Close out orders and monitor performance metrics.
• Perform trend analysis and implement corrective actions to meet performance goals.
• Support the setting of ROP/ROQ in modeling tools to ensure service levels and budget alignment.
• Assist with monthly model updates and adapt plans based on demand, lead times, and costs.
• Collaborate with demand forecasting to investigate demand spikes.
• Analyze supplier and customer data to assess impacts on the supply plan.
• Make direct changes to the program as needed.
• Prepare reports and documentation using MIS systems.
• Support localization efforts and develop in-country supply chain capabilities.
• Material planning and supporting the India Program team as required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 12+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of aviation supply chain functions, logistics, regulatory procedures, aircraft maintenance, support equipment, part interchangeability, and supplier performance management.
• Experience working in MRO environments, with airlines, or Indian defense forces is preferred.

Education and Experience:

Typically, 12-16 years of related work or military experience. An advanced degree is preferred but not required.

This position offers relocation within India, subject to eligibility.
