Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Management Material Program Manager (MPM) in Tucson, AZ. The role leads supplier-related programs,Interface with IPTs, manages material delivery, pricing strategy, risk plans, and contract closure, while aligning with program objectives.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in SCM, procurement, EVMS, and negotiation, and holds U.S. citizenship. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and growth opportunities within RTX.

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years.
• Experience with supply chain, procurement, production control, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, or finance.
• Experience with supplier management or subcontract management.
• Experience developing and executing risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain tools.
• Experience in Earned Value Management.
• Experience negotiating with customers.
• Experience developing and transitioning to production programs.
• Experience developing and analyzing performance metrics and addressing program issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities.
• Conduct pre-award Supplier Assessment (RESA).
• Manage IPT material delivery from suppliers through testing and shipment.
• Ensure cost estimates and EACs are accurate and staffing is appropriate.
• Conduct material contract closure with Contracts and Program Office.
• Provide supply chain support for Gates 2-11 and IPDP compliance.
• Act as or support CAM for assigned area.
• Develop material pricing, supplier flow-down, and negotiation strategies.
• Work with Contracts and Supply Chain to create Contract Flow-through Brief (CFB).
• Establish risks and opportunities with mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Program Management, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement.
• Handle Master Data, MRP scheduling, and material sales forecasting.
• Resolve internal/external conflicts with suppliers.
