Your day at NTT DATA

The Sr. Supply Chain Program Manager is accountable for the development, implementation, and day-to-day execution of the data center capital expenditures construction supply chain program. This position supports construction projects and Critical Facilities Operations business objectives. Responsibilities include forecasting, planning, implementing, and managing all Capital facilities and major equipment supply chain activities, including multi-year projections, sourcing, procurement, contract negotiations, logistics, quality, and distribution. The role involves mitigating late equipment delivery, ensuring fair pricing, and coordinating supply chain activities across NTT GDC stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own all Supply Chain functions including demand planning, sourcing, procurement, vendor selection, logistics, forecasting, negotiations, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Anticipate issues to prevent impacts, understanding market environment and current events.
  • Establish and measure KPIs related to Supply Chain performance.
  • Build analytics to support executive decision-making, managing complex data and dashboards.
  • Lead supplier qualification and selection, conduct business reviews, and improve supply chain performance.
  • Address vendor or supply chain performance issues as the first escalation point.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Operations teams regarding supply chain lead times and obsolescence.
  • Manage supplier framework agreements and equipment orders.
  • Analyze industry trends and risks to minimize supply base issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of procurement processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Data Center equipment.
  • Experience in Data Center construction preferred.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven facilitation and cost reduction experience.
  • Ability to work in a team, manage stress, and communicate effectively.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; master’s preferred.
  • At least 8 years in procurement and supply chain management, with 6+ years in mission-critical/data center projects.
  • Experience with electrical/mechanical suppliers and system integrators.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma training preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to navigate construction sites and factory hazards safely.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, visual work, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Work Conditions & Other Requirements

  • Travel to job sites and vendor facilities.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Availability for emergency support outside normal hours.
  • Remote work with reliable internet; occasional travel.
