Job summary

Benchmark in Minnesota is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory and align planning with service levels for the assigned customer portfolio. You will interact with customers, drive scheduling, and maintain ERP parameters to support production plans.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, cost control, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
• Understanding of continuous improvement tools and ERP basics.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to understand planning systems and processes.
• Represents Supply Chain on the Customer Focus Team.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels for on-time deliveries and cost control.
• Keeps ERP parameters aligned with production planning and scheduling.
• Analyzes forecast changes and their impact on procurement and production.
• Interfaces with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams for AVL and PO management.
• Supports 24/7 global operations and participates in cost-reduction efforts.
• Participates in supplier scorecards and customer quarterly reviews.
