Qualifications

Job description

Job title: Senior Supply Chain Manager/Director of Supply Chain (Experience dependant)

Location: Wisconsin, USA.

I am currently partnered exclusively with a leading contract development and manufacturing organization within the Personal Care and Beauty space. We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Leader to oversee all supply chain activities, including master scheduling, procurement, and achieving overall inventory objectives.

This role ensures the seamless flow of materials and information throughout the organization and drives efficient supply chain operations to meet customer and business needs.

*This position is on-site in Wisconsin, USA. We have one of the best relocation packages in this industry if you're a candidate moving out of a US state to Wisconsin. This role is primarily onsite, with some hybrid flexibility.

  • 5+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of master scheduling, procurement, and inventory management principles.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the master production schedule to meet customer demand and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Oversee procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, components, and services.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve inventory targets to support production requirements while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with operational goals.
  • Manage and develop a team of buyers, supply chain analyst, and supply chain assistant, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
  • Analyze supply chain data and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Lead the implementation of supply chain best practices, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all supply chain activities.
  • Report regularly to the CEO on supply chain performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
