Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Troy, Ohio seeks a results-driven purchaser to manage supplier orders, resolve invoicing issues, and issue RFQs. You will coordinate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and programs to mitigate supply chain risks, including NPI support, ensuring on-time delivery for critical programs.

A degree with 2+ years of manufacturing purchasing is required; SAP and FAR/DFAR familiarity is preferred. The role is onsite with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• University degree and minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with FAR/DFAR flow-downs is preferred.
• SAP experience and general supply chain knowledge are expected.

Responsibilities

• Order book management: raise and amend purchase/scheduled orders.
• Resolve invoice queries and issue RFQs.
• Provide critical updates to internal stakeholders on delivery status.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and programs to resolve supply chain issues.
• Maintain escalation files with current information for stakeholders.
• Work with NPI teams to ensure supply solutions meet project timelines.
• Support account reviews and supplier strategy aligned with business needs.
