Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America in Marysville, OH is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality & Process Engineer to lead supplier manufacturing improvements, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and ensure Tier-1 components meet quality standards.

You will analyze root causes, drive SAP and PDCA cycles with supplier leadership, audit processes across stamping to electronics, and present roadmaps to executives. Travel up to 50% across North American plants is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent experience.
• 2–8 years of experience in automotive supplier quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or SCM.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across North American plants.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process optimization (OEE, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on supplier delivery delays and bottlenecks.
• Work with supplier leadership to implement SAP and PDCA cycles.
• Audit supplier manufacturing processes across stamping, welding, casting, molding, and electronics.
• Evaluate production planning systems, buffers, and packaging logistics.
• Present assessments and roadmaps to executive leadership.
