Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to establish and lead the supplier quality function. This role will develop performance systems, improve incoming quality, implement supplier accountability programs, and create recovery processes to reduce supplier-related quality costs.

You will report to the VP of Quality and lead supplier audits and development efforts, traveling up to 50% to support the top suppliers. Aerospace experience and ISO9001/AS9100 knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• 7+ years of supplier quality experience.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 and supplier management practices.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and systems.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
• Lead supplier audit and supplier development programs.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Establish supplier recovery processes and cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and qualification activities.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on supplier performance improvement.
• Analyze supplier quality trends and drive corrective actions.
• Improve incoming quality performance and supplier accountability.
