Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Senior Manager, Supplier Quality to lead quality strategy for a global supplier base and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will oversee a team of SQEs, establish supplier quality programs, and partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to optimize performance and mitigate risk. 8+ years of leadership in supplier quality and strong QMS expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, operations, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality systems leadership.
• Proven experience leading supplier development and managing supplier quality programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers responsible for supplier performance and quality assurance.
• Establish and execute supplier quality strategies that support operational, customer, and business objectives.
• Drive supplier qualification, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to improve supplier performance and mitigate risk.
• Utilize quality tools and methodologies including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Develop supplier scorecards, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive accountability and improvement.
• Support new product introductions and supplier transitions while ensuring quality and compliance requirements are met.
• Lead escalation management for supplier-related quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
