Job summary

Triad Technology Group seeks a Supplier Quality Manager to lead supplier quality activities, improve performance, and strengthen incoming quality in a high‑reliability aerospace environment.

You will oversee a team of Quality Engineers, partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations, and drive improvements in supplier quality, cost of poor quality, and incoming inspection performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience in regulated environments.
• 2+ years of people management or quality leadership experience.
• Experience with AS9100 and supplier quality processes.
• Hands-on APQP/PPAP, AS9145 preferred; familiarity with PFMEA and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers (approx. 7) focused on AS9100.
• Manage supplier quality for electronics, machined components, and outsourced processes.
• Drive improvements in quality, delivery, corrective actions, and PPM.
• Lead supplier corrective actions, audits, and supplier development activities.
• Support incoming inspection and AS9100 compliance.
• Implement APQP/PPAP and deploy AS9145 site-wide.
• Collaborate on PFMEAs, control plans, process capability, SPC, and risk.
• Assess supplier risk and develop mitigation plans; travel ~25%.

• Manage supplier quality for electronics, machined components, and outside processing, including heat treating, plating, passivation, and painting.
• Establish supplier performance goals and drive improvements in quality, delivery, corrective action, PPM, and cost of poor quality.
• Lead supplier corrective actions, root cause investigations, nonconformance resolution, audits, and supplier development activities.
• Support receiving inspection and improve controls for incoming material and supplier-related issues.
• Implement and improve APQP/PPAP processes and support the site-wide deployment of AS9145.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations on PFMEAs, control plans, process capability, SPC, and other preventive quality tools.
• Assess supplier risk and develop mitigation and improvement plans for key suppliers.
• Support internal and external quality audits and maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements.
• Travel approximately 25%, primarily to local and domestic suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience, preferably in aerospace or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of people management or quality leadership experience.
• Required experience with AS9100.
• Working knowledge of supplier quality, corrective action, root cause analysis, audits, and process control.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP and AS9145 is preferred, particularly hands-on implementation experience.
• Familiarity with FMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA, process capability, and supplier risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience, NADCAP exposure, GD&T knowledge, or AS9100 auditor experience is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work with applicable export-controlled information, where required.
