Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality for structural casting suppliers and manage qualifications, audits, and improvement plans.

You will lead root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and coordinate with design and manufacturing engineers to improve producibility and first-time yield while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality or Supply Chain Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Drive root cause and corrective action plans across suppliers.
• Identify process improvements to improve first time yield and delivery.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers on manufacturability and producibility.
• Identify gaps in quality systems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Present strategies and risks to senior leaders.
