Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, seeks a Supervisor of Supplier Quality Development to lead quality improvements across NA suppliers. The role focuses on APQP, PPAP validation, supplier audits, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturing and engineering teams.

The job requires extensive experience in stamping, machining, or forging, plus AIAG knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Science/Industrial Management.
• Automotive/Truck industry experience.
• VDA certified is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality development activities across NA region (US, Mexico, Canada, etc.).
• Oversee APQP for new products/transitions and PPAP validation for Bowling Green and related plants.
• Act as liaison between suppliers, group, plant quality and engineering; mediate supplier/plant quality issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and product audits to eliminate gaps and ensure safe launches and project schedules.
• Supervise direct reports and track tasks to ensure timely resolution.
