Job summary
Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a Supervisor, Supplier Quality Development to lead supplier performance improvements and audits across North America. You will oversee PPAP validation, quality requirements, and APQP processes for SMF, IC, and related categories.
The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, 5+ years in automotive quality, and 3+ years in supervision, with SAP experience and strong problem solving. Domestic and global travel up to 60% is expected.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in manufacturing (stamping, machining, forging).
- 5+ years in automotive Tier 1 quality.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with AIAG modules (PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP).
- Auditing knowledge: process audits, control plan, product audits.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier quality development activities across NA suppliers.
- Ensure PPAP, quality requirements and measurement standards for new products/transitions.
- Act as liaison between suppliers, group, and plant quality/engineering.
- Lead audits for new suppliers and product safety in NA region.
