Job summary

CesiumAstro in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Manager to lead supplier quality engineering teams across aerospace programs. You will establish quality priorities, manage audits, NCRs, PPAP/FAI, and develop leaders while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality is required or equivalent.
• 9+ years total experience with 2–5 years in leadership/management roles.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and aerospace supplier quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple supplier quality engineering teams for qualification, development, surveillance, and corrective actions.
• Establish supplier quality priorities and allocate resources to meet program requirements.
• Develop quality leaders and perform coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Oversee supplier audits, PPAP/FAI processes, and ensure compliance with QMS and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate supplier capability and implement corrective actions to reduce risk across the supply base.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to address producibility and quality risks.
