Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Supplier Process Control Engineer to partner with the Global Supply Chain and drive supplier quality improvements. You will coach suppliers in APQP/PPAP, ensure compliance with PW quality systems, and collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Value Stream Managers to raise process capability and parts quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 7–10+ years in quality engineering in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience leading APQP/PPAP with suppliers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems and AS13100 Chapter B.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor suppliers on process control and continuous improvement.
• Maintain relationships with procurement, engineering, and supplier development groups.
• Support VCAB reviews and drive supplier quality improvements to meet metrics.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve quality signatures and supplier maturity.
• Coordinate with external suppliers' quality/operations teams to ensure compliance.
