Copeland, based in Sidney, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality audits, drive corrective actions, and support New Product Development through PPAPs and process improvements. The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years in quality engineering, knowledge of APQP/PPAP, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5 years of quality engineering experience.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAPs.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate suppliers by leading/conducting quality system audits.
• Assist with source selection and development.
• Audit and evaluate supplier capabilities and monitor quality performance trends.
• Process, review and disposition PPAPs, deviations, audit findings, and supplier corrective actions.
• Develop and support suppliers through audits, process audits, lean projects, and corrective actions.
• Support design reviews and provide commodity-related design improvements for global sourcing.
• Supervise co-op/intern students as required.
