Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to conduct supplier qualification and development for a global, high‑quality supply base. You will lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with design engineers to ensure PPQ and ongoing quality improvements. The role is hybrid in Charlotte, NC, with travel up to 50%.

Requires ISO/ASME knowledge, welding/coating expertise, and 5+ years in technical or supply chain roles. English and a second language (Indian) are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier qualification, product & process qualification and technical supplier development for a global, cost-effective supply base.
• Experience leading projects and virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Qualification: support cross-functional supplier selection with quality data; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Product & Process Qualification: lead cross-functional teams to perform PPQ per process descriptions and standards; support supplier quality measures.
• Supplier Quality Management: plan, implement, optimize and control supplier quality processes; coach suppliers on QA tools.
• Supplier Improvement: initiate supplier quality improvement programs; conduct root cause analysis and implement risk mitigations.
• Design Review and Improvement: participate in design reviews with suppliers for new designs; support DTL and DTC efforts.
