Job summary

Otto Aerospace LLC is seeking a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer to advance the Supplier Quality Management System and lead audits with the Supply Chain team. You will write procedures, qualification plans, and quality clauses while developing supplier capabilities to meet aerospace standards.

As part of the Safety and Quality Assurance Office, you will mentor junior engineers, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement across supplier quality processes in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of supplier quality engineering experience in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and supplier quality requirements.
• Experience writing supplier quality procedures, manuals, and procurement clauses.
• Ability to conduct supplier audits and assessments against industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of the Supplier Quality Management System.
• Write and maintain supplier quality documentation, including the Supplier Quality Manual and quality flow-down clauses.
• Qualify, monitor, and develop suppliers to meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute supplier audit and surveillance programs.
• Support supplier selection, source inspection, FAI, and nonconformance resolution activities.
• Train and mentor junior supplier quality engineers to mature the function.
• Coordinate supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and verify effectiveness.
• Analyze supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Support internal quality system activities and cross-functional initiatives.
• Represent Supplier Quality in internal/external meetings, including supplier reviews.
