Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA, based in Cheshire, CT, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead the supplier quality program, drive improvements, and maintain supplier controls across the supply base.

You will manage PPAP/FAI, supplier audits, corrective actions, and performance metrics while collaborating with procurement and engineering to define supplier specifications. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience; aerospace preferred.
• 3+ years of supplier quality auditing experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person and able to work with ITAR data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary focal for PPAP, FAI, and KPIs to prevent production delays.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain supplier quality records, audits, certifications, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Procurement/Engineering to define supplier requirements and ratings.
