Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive the Supplier Quality Program across the supply chain. You will ensure adequacy of supplier quality programs and inspection methods, participate in MRB, supplier audits, and corrective actions, and collaborate with technical groups to define supplier specs.

Responsibilities include PPAP/FAI execution, supplier performance analysis, maintaining quality records, and establishing supplier rating and metrics.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person and able to work with ITAR data.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred.
• 3+ years of Quality experience with supplier initiatives.
• 3+ years of supplier quality auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary supplier quality focal point for PPAP, FAI, and KPC execution to prevent issues.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain supplier quality records including audits and corrective actions.
• Define a Supplier Rating program with key quality metrics with Procurement.
• Lead supplier quality assurance using rating programs and metrics.
• Develop and update supplier quality policies and procedures as needed.
• Perform supplier capability and quality/risk assessments.
