Job summary

World View is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive technical qualification, continuous improvement, and rigorous quality oversight of our global supply chain.

This role serves as the primary technical interface between World View Engineering, Operations, and our supplier network, applying advanced aerospace quality methodologies to mitigate risk, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years in aerospace/defense supplier quality.
• Deep knowledge of AS9100/AS9110/IATF-16949/AS9145.
• ASQ CSQP or CQE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and approval processes.
• Apply APQP/PPAP per AS9145 to qualify new suppliers and components.
• Conduct supplier audits and verify compliance with AS9100 and regs.
• Lead 8D investigations and containment for supplier issues.
