Job summary

Collins Aerospace's Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2027 Supplier Quality Intern to support supplier quality certifications, compliance waivers, and ERP updates. The role involves collaborating with the Global Supplier Quality Compliance team to identify risks and noncompliance gaps, and assisting site Quality teams with measurements and presentations.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or Technology.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience managing projects, schedules, deliverables, or budgets.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier quality certifications and compliance waivers; update ERP with certification expiration dates and supplier/part number data.
• Collaborate with Global Supplier Quality Compliance team; prioritize assessments and updates and create a compliance gap matrix.
• Support site Quality teams; document supplier nonconformances and assist with monthly metrics, customer presentations, and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives; track process turnbacks, lead or support skip-lot activities, and submit escalation requests when needed.
