Job summary

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, seeks a Principal Supply Chain Planner (US-based, remote) to lead supplier integration across its global network.

You will partner with external suppliers, category management, and planning teams to improve continuity, inventory performance, and efficiency, while aligning with the Supplier Integration 777 strategy. Travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Experience in regulated environments (medical device, pharmaceutical) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supplier Integration initiatives aligned to the Supplier Integration 777 strategy and targets.
• Travel to supplier locations as required (up to 75%).
• Scale SMI (Supplier Managed Inventory), Consignment, and Supplier Portal capabilities.
• Partner with business units, sites, and suppliers to embed best practices.
• Build business cases, roadmaps, and value propositions for stakeholder alignment.
• Present project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead supplier assessments and process reviews to improve inventory and lead times.
• Monitor KPIs including inventory, service, SMI adoption, and value delivery.
• Drive sustainable change across the organization.
