The Indirect Supply Management (ISM) organization develops and executes sourcing strategies that maximize enterprise value across Medtronic’s indirect spend categories. This role is part of the Global Consulting and Marketing Services team and is responsible for strategic sourcing activities within the consulting services category, partnering with stakeholders across functions, regions, and businesses to optimize supplier performance, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable business value. This position is based in Fridley, Minnesota and follows an onsite work model, requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office to support collaboration with key business partners and stakeholders. As Principal Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Consulting, you will own sourcing strategy for a global consulting services portfolio with approximately $100M in annual spend, influencing decisions that support enterprise priorities across Medtronic. Partnering directly with senior leaders across functions, regions, and business units, you will shape sourcing strategies, lead complex negotiations with top consulting firms, and drive measurable value through supplier selection, commercial optimization, and risk management. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$107,200.00 - $160,800.00 This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
