Medtronic’s Tempe, Arizona site seeks a Principal Operations Sourcing Specialist to lead raw material supply continuity and supplier performance for manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with Operations Scheduling, Planning, and Quality to resolve supply risks and ensure uninterrupted production.

The role requires a 4+ day onsite presence, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with SAP/MRP and risk assessment tools. Travel may be needed for supplier engagements and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 7+ years in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead raw material and component supply continuity and risk mitigation.
• Serve as escalation point for material issues (shortages, backlog, outages).
• Collaborate with Ops, Planning, Procurement and Quality to improve supplier performance.
• Participate in MPS, tier reviews, and risk planning gatherings.
• Support SIP, LT B, and PIPO activities for lifecycle transitions.
• Assist audit readiness and supplier qualification activities.
