Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Staff Supplier Integration Manager – ARC to lead global supply chain strategies, drive cost reductions, and partner with design teams to improve TRL of fusion hardware. You will manage supplier ecosystems and high-value contracts in a highly uncertain, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in supply chain management for complex tech programs, strong contracting acumen, and willingness to travel extensively to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience managing supply chains in raw materials, metals, machined components, welding and fabrication, or contracted assemblies.
• Willingness to travel 25%–50% and work at remote sites.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
• Experience sourcing for R&D prototypes and ongoing production.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, R&D, and Economics teams to drive powerplant value engineering and cost reductions.
• Lead techno-economic inputs for future powerplants.
• Advise on opportunities to acquire companies, form alliances, and drive partnerships to improve supply chain readiness.
• Manage global supplier searches and senior-level supplier relationships.
• Negotiate long-term high-value agreements pivotal to ARC deployment.
