Job summary

Electric Era is hiring an experienced Supplier Development Engineer to enable the development and production flow of our EV charging infrastructure. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, and our supply base to execute effective, data-driven supply chain strategies that meet manufacturing goals.

Your ability to solve problems in partnership with suppliers will accelerate the EV revolution and electrify the transportation network as you own supplier quality, cost, and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM required.
• 5+ years in supply chain engineering or supplier development/quality.
• Willingness to conduct factory floor walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

• Develop suppliers to improve quality, cost, delivery, and capacity.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand parts, assembly, and metrology.
• Resolve supplier quality issues via root-cause analysis and cross-functional liaison.
• Support supplier selection by assessing processes and quality systems.
• Define supplier requirements and PPAP for rate production.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive improvement plans.
• Identify new suppliers and capabilities to reduce risk.
• Travel 25–60% as needed and maintain strong supplier relationships.
