Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr Engineer Supplier Development to ensure quality performance for a set of suppliers in its global supply chain. You will lead APQP/PPAP, manage supplier readiness, and drive risk mitigation across electrical hardware components including power distribution and charging systems. You will work onsite in Plymouth, MI or Irvine, CA, with 50-60% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP processes and supplier quality management.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality performance for Low voltage power distribution and charging components.
• Oversee action plans for CL2 suppliers to prevent regression.
• Lead APQP/PPAP process and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Influence peers using data-driven insights and own the industrialization of suppliers.
• Drive improvements with moderate autonomy within assigned scope.
