Job summary

Amity Foundation, an internationally acclaimed Teaching, and Therapeutic Community, seeks compassionate individuals to join our community as Supervising Counselor. This role supervises face-to-face rehabilitative programming in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP) within prison and re-entry initiatives.

You will oversee approximately six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff, ensure staff certifications, monitor progress, and coordinate training and ARMS documentation

Qualifications

• Required: Certified as an AOD Counselor with an organization approved by DHCS.
• Two years of experience as a certified AOD counselor.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities for staff development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Track and monitor contractor staff performance and implement corrective actions.
• Assess and monitor counseling staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Oversee orientation and intake for participants assigned to programming.
• Ensure ARMS documentation compliance and training for staff.
