Job summary

Amity Foundation in California is seeking a Supervising Counselor to oversee face-to-face rehabilitative programming within the ISUDTP. You will supervise staff, evaluate performance, ensure compliance, and coordinate intake and progress tracking for participants in a secure setting.

This role requires a DHCS-certified AOD counselor with at least two years’ experience, strong leadership, and excellent organization.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor with DHCS-approved organization.
• Two years of experience as a certified AOD counselor.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six staff delivering ISUDTP services.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Track staff performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Monitor staff progress toward AOD certification requirements.
• Oversee intake/orientation for new participants into programming.
• Ensure ARMS documentation compliance and contract adherence.
• Coordinate OMCP Mentors and supervise related internship hours.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS and contracted staff.
