Job summary

Amity Foundation California is seeking a Supervising Counselor to oversee face-to-face rehabilitative programming within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). The role involves supervising a team, coaching staff, and ensuring documentation and compliance in a secure setting.

You will work closely with CDCR and partners, oversee mentor programs, and verify internship hours, with compensation at $38 per hour and full-time consideration.

Qualifications

• Requires Certified AOD Counselor with a DHCS-approved organization and two years of experience as a certified AOD counselor.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure program compliance within ISUDTP.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Track and monitor contractor staff performance and implement corrective measures.
• Assess and monitor counseling staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Supervise orientation and intake processes for new participants.
• Coordinate and supervise OMCP Mentors and ensure internship hours documentation.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS and contracted staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
